William S. Lochner

Born August 3, 1952  •  Went to be with our Lord on Thursday, March 28, 2024

William Stephen “Wild Bill” Lochner, 71, of Madison, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 28, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born August 3, 1952 in Pittsburgh, PA. Son of the late William C. and Mary Jane (Bayko) Lochner.

He graduated from Norwin High School Class of 1969 and was on the football team. After graduation, Bill served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was a proud veteran. He was a member of The Church in Sutersville, PA and the VFW Post 781 in Irwin, PA. Bill worked and retired from Kenny Ross after 28 ½ years of service. Prior to, he owned and operated Vindicator’s Elite Gun Shop, Elite Coach Works and LPX. As well as, working for Westinghouse as a core maker and PalAmerican Security in high-risk security. He was a very hard worker and enjoyed cleaning and organizing his home. Bill loved riding his motorcycles and spending time with his family and dogs. He enjoyed taking in the beach atmosphere on trips to the Outer Banks with family and friends. Bill was loved by many and will be deeply missed by his community, friends and family.

He is preceded in death by both parents and brother, Robert Lochner.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Lauren M. (Hydak) Lochner of Madison, PA; sons, Jarett (Sammi) Lochner of Herminie, PA, Sean (Katelyn) of New Stanton, PA and Brian (Melissa) Schork of Herminie, PA; daughter, Yvonne (Chris) Habajec; grandchildren, Adam Habajec, Aubrey Lochner, Paige Habajec, Bailee Schork and Lyanna Schork; sisters, Cheryl (Sheldon) Herman of Indianapolis, PA and Judy Lord of Monroeville, PA; special friends, Kurt (Karen) Kezic, as well as many close friends.

Friends will be received from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm on Monday, April 1, 2024 at the Beatty-Rich Funeral Home, Inc. Rt 136 Madison, PA – Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at the funeral home with Pastor Frank Rocco officiating and full Military Honors with the Armbrust Veterans accorded. Interment will be private.
