Robert proudly served in the United States Navy and loved his country!

He was a machinist by trade but honestly there was nothing he couldn’t do! He had no problem jumping in and tackling any job set before him. He worked at Mesta Machine in Homestead for 17 years and then went on to work at Union Electric Steel in Carnegie from May 7, 1984 until he retired on April 30, 2002. He loved riding his motorcycles and restoring his Alsport and Rupp Centaur Trikes as well as riding and enjoying his Burgman Scooters with his wife, and keeping the family cars going. He loved reading the word of God every morning and sharing the love of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with his children and friends or just anyone who would listen to him. He loved each and every one brothers and sisters in Christ at The Church of Sutersville; as well as all of his friends! His deepest desire was to know that when he left this world for Heaven, that he’d be able to leave with a peace in his heart that one day he’d be reunited with his wife and all his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and all of his friends and family in knowing that they all made Jesus Christ their personal Lord and Savior as he did and they’d all be together in Heaven for eternity!
