It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Lewis “Luke” Robert Lock Jr., age 71, of Harrison City, on Friday, December 19, 2025. Luke loved the Lord and lived his life in faith. He is now with his Lord and Savior, free of pain and made whole.
Luke was born on August 17, 1954 in Greensburg, a son of Ellen (McCready) Lock of Jeannette and the late Lewis Robert Lock, Sr. In addition to his mother, Luke is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 53 years, and sweetheart since age 10, Joyce; two sons, Lewis “Luke” Lock, III (wife Brookelyne) and David Richard Lock (wife Jennifer); five grandchildren, Tyler, Bryson, Allyson, Breanna, and Jaxon; five brothers, Kenny, Donald, Robert, Roy, and Kevin Lock, and their families; sister, Barbara Stewart; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Luke was a graduate of Jeannette High School. He was a US Air Force veteran who served during Vietnam, and had worked as a self-employed carpenter by trade. He was also a member of The Church in Sutersville. Luke had many outdoor interests and was an avid hunter and enjoyed boating.
Friends will be received on Friday, December 26 from 11 AM until the time of service at 1 PM at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, PO Box 465, Harrison City, 724-744-2721.
